Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the 4th Thursday of November. The first Thanksgiving was celebrated by the Pilgrims and Native American people in America at Plymoth Rock in 1621. They had a feast together and gave thanks for a good harvest, surviving the winter, and for freedom in a new land. Today we get together with our families and friends, eat special food and dessert, and celebrate with many different traditions!

I am Cory! I am your 2013-2014 English Assistant!

Hello!

My name is Cory Olson and I will be the English assistant for this next year. I am from Seattle, Washington in the United States. I am living here with my wife in Vilagarcia de Arousa. I like to rock climb, slackline, go hiking, travel, and photography! My favorite foods are sushi, tacos, and any food that is spicy!  My favorite movie is Raising Arizona, my favorite music is folk-rock, and my favorite color is turqouise.  Seattle is a lot like Galicia, butI think it rains more in Galicia than in Seattle :) I am excited to teach english this year and excited to get to know all of you. Galicia is beautiful, the food is delicious, and I am very happy to be here!

I like travelling, reading and walking my dog, Naruto. I studied Lingusitics at Glasgow University. I 'm very happy to be here and hope you learn lots!
